Object Description
Ruby and diamond cocktail ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape French cut ruby in a claw settings with an approximate weight of 0.25 carats, flanked by eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.25 carats, to a heavy cocktail ring design featuring polished borders, a circular motif to the gallery and open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a smooth shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1945.
