Object Description
Sapphire and diamond ring. Set with one central cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.25 carats, flanked by ten round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a total weight of 1.30 carats, and two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a total weight of 0.02 carats. The combined approximate diamond weight is 1.32 carats, to an elongated cluster, with a linear pierced gallery, open backholing and on a fluted tapered D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat white gold, circa 1920, ccompanied by a WGI cert WGI19624112754.
