Object Description
This very nice set of 4 crested and shell backed George III silver serving spoons were made in London in 1757 by HB and measure 8.25 inches in length and have scallop shells to the backs of the bowls, they are fully and clearly hallmarked to the backs of the stems where they also bear the crest with THROUGH engraved above, the bowls are all well formed with good tips – a nice set of spoons in very good condition weighing 7.80 ounces or 242 grams.
