Circa 1880, set of 24 carved oak dining chairs, with 23 side chairs and 1 large armchair. The chairs have a shaped and carved top rail with a padded back in an oak frame and a large stuffover seat. The front and side rails are ribbed and they stand on turned and tapering legs united by H stretchers. The armchair is monogramed at the top, and it is 134 cm high x 65 cm wide x 50 cm deep.
It is rare to find a such a large quality set of chairs.
