Object Description
Circa 1890’s, a set of 5 late Victorian solid oak Captain’s chairs, the raised and curved back with a pierced and flared splat, the solid oak arms supported and carved uprights, upholstered seats with brass studding, within a shaped oak frame with a slight dip to the front, simple back legs with elegant cabriole legs to the front, all the legs are braced by stout turned stretchers, giving the chairs great strength.
