Object Description
Circa 1790. A quality set of six late George III mahogany dining chairs. Consisting of four side chairs and two armchairs. The top curved and inlaid top rail with interesting lattice back beneath, two sturdy arms finishing with C-scroll’s, supported on turned uprights. The chairs have stuff-over seats (recently reupholstered). The back legs are slightly out-swept, front legs are turned, ring turned and tapering. Chairs have great colour and patination, clean and sturdy.
