Object Description
Circa 1890, set of 8 mahogany ladder back dining chairs in the style of Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh. It consists of 6 side chairs, and 2 arms, with the top rails having a raised central section with foliate carving. A stuffover seat leads on to uprights with tapering, slightly outswept back legs and the front legs have reeded fore-edges, united by stretchers.
