Object Description

These Edwardian oak doors with frame are originally from Rochester Cathedral, the second oldest Cathedral in England. We are also selling a single internal door salvaged from the same location. These double doors create a shallow arch, each detailed with two shaped, vertical panels within a matching oak frame, once used as an internal screen within the Cathedral interior. At over 120 years old, these doors are handsomely preserved, making a beautiful set of internal or dividing doors to the dining or reception room of a period country property or an Edwardian townhouse.
