These side tables come as a set of four: their sizes allow for them to be stacked on top of each other as well as used separately. They are crafted from rosewood and date from early 19th Century England, in the period of king William IV. Each table is set on four scrolling, acanthus-leaf carved feet, which support two turned legs joined by a further turned rosewood stretcher. They have rectangular tops, and the second largest table also features a chequer board on its top.
