Object Description
Detailed with an abundance of timeless scrollwork, this pair of Edwardian wrought iron gates make a beautiful set of driveway gates. Alternatively, they could be used as an ornate pair of pedestrian garden gates at the side of a house or at the entrance to a courtyard. Handmade by a skilled blacksmith more than 100 years ago, the gate’s wrought iron details are beautifully preserved. The repeated scrollwork with symmetrical finial at the centre is as popular in the modern day as it was at the time of the gate’s creation during the Edwardian era, making the pair a truly timeless addition to any outdoor space. Fitted with a working latch and stay, only surface rust and old paint reveals their age. A simple lick of paint will bring these wrought iron driveway gates back to life.
