Object Description
A set of four delightful George II cast candlesticks, with fluted knopped stems onto hexafoil bases with shell motifs. The spool-shaped sockets have detachable hexafoil wax pans.
Two of the candlesticks are engraved on the underside with an inscription, which reads: “The Gift of Mrs Davies to her Grandson Robt Hughes.”
