Object Description
A set of four late 18th century (circa 1790) Continental walnut chairs, possibly Italian.
This set of chairs consist of a top rail with carved urn and finial to the centre with carved swag decoration and carved square floral paterae to each corner, the tapered uprights with carved square floral paterae to the lower corners.
The upholstered back leading down to an upholstered seat of serpentine form, upholstered in a cream zebra effect fabric in very good condition (this could of course be changed once purchased if required).
This leads down to a moulded serpentine shaped seat rail with carved wreath and swag decoration to the front, this also replicated to the sides with carved square floral paterae to each corner leading down to tapered moulded and fluted front legs with outswept legs to the back.
This set of chairs are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
