Object Description
A rare set of six Dutch silver candlesticks, which have bulbous silver columns.
The columns of these Dutch candlesticks surmount plain circular sunken wells and are supported by shaped square bases.
These candlesticks are 833 purity of silver and made in Amsterdam in 1934 by Zaanlandse Zilversmederijen.
They are very much in the Dutch mid eighteenth century taste which the maker specialised in. The Zaanlandse Zilversmederijen was founded in 1875 by Gerardus Schoorl (1848-1925) and was famous for copies of early Dutch silver.
The candlesticks are in excellent condition. They could be sold as a set of four or a pair if required.
