Object Description
An elegant set of antique French double doors with original glazing and white painted finish. Dating from the late 19th century, these reclaimed French doors are constructed in pine with bevelled clear glass to the top two thirds and moulded panelling to the base. They are tall, measuring 286 cm high, and are suitable for both internal and external use. Thanks to their elegance, it is easy to imagine these beautiful antique French doors with glass at the entrance to a country townhouse, as dividing doors between reception rooms or leading from a French kitchen into a lavish pantry. The glass is particularly unusual, designed with a distinct curve that is softer than more commonly found rectangular panes, complementing a period French look.
