Object Description
Very fine quality set of twelve early nineteenth century Regency mahogany antique dining chairs. This set of antique chairs are very well drawn with generously curved sabre legs and well proportioned backs and arms. They are a large scale for this period of antique chair design, with good curve to the back rail and so are more comfortable than normal. This set of chairs are made from a good dense cut of Cuban mahogany which is very strong. They also have double tenon joints for additional strength where the legs meet the frame. The woodwork of these chairs will be restored before shipping. The reupholstery is not included, please ask for details if required. This is a really good set of chairs for the money.
