Object Description
A teak and iron Ship’s Wheel.
The wheel has eight handles and spokes with the top handle identified by a raised ring to the turning. The central axle or spindle is iron.
The Wheel has a worn, painted finish which has added character. It was probably made for a private yacht but now could be used as evocative decoration if fixed to a wall. There is not much to go onto date it but it is likely to be late 19th or early 20th Century.
