Object Description

An Edwardian art nouveau silver mounted claret jug of circular tapering form. The top pierced mount and silver handle are embellished with flowers, while the base mount depicts cherubs amongst sea creatures and shells. The designs on the silver mount are replicated in the cut glass. The hinged lid has a bud finial.One of the finest jugs that one is likely to encounter.
