This superb, silver-plated stand is crafted in the Georgian style, a design aesthetic that was highly popular throughout the 18th and 19th centuries, and is accompanied by three matching glasses.
The stand takes a shaped triangular form, with three large rings designed to hold the glasses and smaller open rings positioned between them. These rings are supported by intricately detailed features that mirror the decorative edging, while the shaped feet are finished with lion paw motifs, adding a touch of grandeur. The handle, formed of graceful C-scrolls, reflects the playful elegance of the Rococo influence.
The accompanying glasses are circular and adorned with geometric cut designs, while the reverse of one foot bears the stamp āJā.
Combining functional utility with refined ornamentation, this silver-plated glass stand is a sophisticated and eye-catching addition to any dining table or display.
