Object Description
Circa 1820. Inlaid mahogany cased, silvered brass dial Georgian grandfather clock with brass weights. Surmounted by an arched “broken” pediment with brass finials, the face with moon phase, calendar aperture and second dial in a hood with neoclassical columns with brass mounts. The elegant case with an arched door with satinwood banding and the case with gadrooned decoration, the door and base in beautifully figured flame mahogany and all supported on shaped bracket feet.
