Object Description

A small 17th century Welsh oak armchair.Moulded frame around a plain back panel,bold arms with turned uprights and boxed in sides.Turned front legs with good moulded stretchers.Montgomeryshire Circa 1680..
Seat height 14ins.

Object History

Has been in the present owner’s family since 1926.

Object Condition

Good original colour and condition,there are some old repairs(spliced) to the base of the back legs-see photo.
