Small European Late Bronze Age Votive Palstave Axehead

Object Description

A fine European Bronze Age palstave-type votive axe head. It features a square butt and leaf-shaped flanges. The blade displays a convex shape with a fine cutting edge. The bronze is smooth and covered by a beautiful dark blue-green patina.
