Object Description
A good early twentieth century mahogany-cased 8-inch dial fusee railway clock from the London And North Eastern Railway, later re-signed as British Rail (Eastern Region), and numbered 12819.
The case has a round base with pendulum access door, and a hinged side door.
The 8-day fusee timepiece movement by Smiths is stamped with the serial number 18771, with screwed pillars and rectangular plates.
Spun brass bezel.
