A Good Quality Late 18th Century, George III Period, Mahogany Rectangular Occasional Lamp Table, Having Well Figured Top Over Two Shallow Drawers With Replacement Brass Knobs And Attractive Ebonised Strung Decoration Throughout, Raised On Elegant Square Tapered Legs.
A charming, well made, elegant little occasional, or side table, which is perfect for a whole variety of different spaces around the home with a lamp, or photo frames, or anything else which one desires perched upon it. The two shallow drawers offer a good storage option for those items which you want easy access to without having to root around in the bottom of big deep drawers cluttered with lots of other items.
Overall this table is in good, functional condition and is a great little size.It comes with working lock and key and there are no structural defects or major historical damage to speak of, just the expected old wear and tear for an item which is well over 200 years old.
As with all items which we offer for sale it has been inspected in our workshops, by our highly skilled, trained antique furniture restorers, who have ensured that it is in tip top condition, including a lovely natural wax polish, before being offered for sale.
