This piece is a Persian Turkman Carpet, a traditional example of antique village rugs. The rug features unique Tribal designs that derive from the north and northeast area of Persia, Iran. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton which have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately hand-knotted on looms by master craftsmen in the 1890s.
