This piece is an Anatolian Rug. Anatolia is a large peninsula in Western Asia and makes up a large part of modern-day turkey. The rug features traditional Tribal designs that derive from this area. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton which have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately hand-knotted on looms by master craftsmen in the 1940s.
