This piece is a Persian carpet handmade in Hamadan, Hamedan is believed to be among the oldest Iranian cities known for their elaborate design and fine construction. The rug features traditional Tribal designs that derive from this area. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton which have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately hand-knotted on looms by master craftsmen in the 1960s.
