This small but powerful little oil painting dates to the 1930s and is painted on a wood panel from a Romeo y Julieta Cuban cigar box. It is painted quickly in a post-Impressionist style, showing a bullring with two matadors facing a defiant bull. It was likely executed by a Continental artist in Spain.
