This piece is a Persian carpet handmade in Hamadan, Hamedan is believed to be among the oldest Iranian cities in the north-west of Iran. The rug features traditional Tribal designs that derive from this area. The raw materials used are of the finest quality, with only the best hand-spun wool and cotton which have been dyed with organic dyeing techniques and delicately hand-knotted on looms by master craftsmen in the 1960s.
