Object Description
A fine Spanish silver (91.5% pure) hand cast and chased (not filled) model elephant.
It is beautifully detailed and was made by Vera Orfebres of Madrid, who made some of the finest silver animal models 50 years ago.
We have another silver model elephant (marginal differences) by the same maker and also a mother and her baby.
The model is in excellent condition.
Dimensions: height 15.2 cm, length 19 cm; weight 20.4 troy oz.
