Object Description
Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure with a mythological theme which features Andromache next to a pillar with her arms wrapped around a urn, stood on a rectangular base. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Open bottomed. This piece represents Andromache weeping over the ashes of Hector. Maker’s marks painted to the underside.
