Staffordshire Pearlware Figure of Plenty

Object Description

Staffordshire Pottery pearlware figure which features a women holding a cornucopia full of fruit, stood on a square base. Painted base line. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. This piece represents Ops, Goddess of plenty.

Object Condition

Good. No restoration. A few shallow chips to base. A few paint losses to base and cornucopia.
