Staffordshire praying lady figure

Object Description

Staffordshire figure with a religious theme which features a scantily clad women praying, knelt on a rectangular base. Decorated ‘in the round’ – decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse

Object Condition

Generally good. Some small flakes to base and her robe. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to both elbows. RESTORATION. Hands reglued and join retouched. Retouched paint losses to hair.
