Object Description

A fine sterling Elizabeth II silver kings pattern canteen of silver flatware/cutlery for 12 people. The service was made in Sheffield in 1978 for R.E. Porter (a Bournemouth retailer). The coffee spoons were made in 1956 by Edward Viner.

This extensive and heavy weight service comprises:
12 round bowl soup spoons
12 table forks
12 dessert spoons
12 dessert forks
12 tea spoons
12 coffee spoons
12 avocado/grapefruit spoons
4 serving spoons
To complement this, there are 12 table knives and 12 dessert knives with silver handles and stainless steel blades along with a three-piece carving set.

The knives are of the superior hard soldered variety (dishwasher safe with no filling) 115 pieces.

A lovely set in excellent condition. At this present time, if needed, we have fish knives and forks to complement this set.
