This exceptional antique George IV sterling silver teapot has a circular pumpkin shaped form onto a circular spreading foot.
The shaped, panelled surface of this Paul Storr silver teapot is plain and unembellished, encompassed with an applied moulded border to the upper rim.
This exceptional teapot is fitted with a plain domed hinged hallmarked cover, continuing the shape of the body and retaining the original hallmarked cast sterling silver finial realistically modelled in the form of a flower head and foliage.
The teapot is fitted with a carved painted wood handle with a plain scrolling thumbpiece and impressive fluted cast sterling silver sockets.
This antique teapot features an impressive cast swan necked spout with concave fluted decoration to the underside, in addition to scrolling motifs to the lip.
The teapot is supported by a cast silver spreading foot, reflecting the shape of the body and encompassed with a paralleling applied moulded border.
This exceptional teapot was crafted by the renowned and collectable maker Paul Storr.
