Object History

Mary Ann Fielding initially exhibited under her maiden name of Mary Ann Walton. She later married the artist Theodore Henry Fielding. She specialised in detailed studies of fruit and flowers painted in the Dutch Golden Age manner, exhibiting between 1820 and 1834 at the British Institution and the Old Watercolour Society.

Object Condition

Excellent. Presented in Dutch style ebonised and gilt frame.
