Object Description
This is a very good example of a repeating French carriage clock in the corniche style by one of the eminent makers of the late 1800s, Henri Jacot. The polished lacquered brass case has beveled glasses to all sides.
The pristine white enameled dial has black Roman numerals within an outside minute track with diamond quarter hour markers and dot five minute markers.

The base of the clock is stamped with the same serial number. The movement has the original silvered platform with crescent shaped bridge and pointed tooth escape wheel.
