Object Description

Striking Arts and Crafts Qum Carpet, c. 1930
3.08 x 2.23 m

This is an especially unique example, as it incorporates characteristic designs of the Arts and Crafts movement, a decorative style pioneered by figures like John Ruskin and William Morris in late 19th Century Britain. It also features a rare, understated palette, with tones of ivory, caramel, and chocolate brown.

In very good original condition for everyday use, still retaining its original edges and borders on all sides, a highly decorative rug to compliment a wide variety of settings,
