Object Description
A beautifully-presented French gilt striking and repeating carriage clock, the corniche-style of case having been newly re-gilded.
The 8-day duration mechanism strikes the hours and half hours on a gong. The strike is repeating on depressing the button on top of the case. The movement benefits from its original silvered lever platform escapement.
The white enamel dial is in perfect condition, and is signed J.W. BENSON, LONDON.
Blued steel hands.
