Object Description
Circa 1930s. A very stylish high Art Deco two toned walnut compactum. The polished top with a curved front with herringbone pattern. The fore edges are painted to give a stripped effect. With a combination of two tall and narrow doors with contrasting colour walnut, the inside the cedar lined sections have a hanging rail, the center has a hinged cupboard with a bank of four drawers beneath, each with very distinctive herringbone walnut veneers and elegant elongated handles with foliate cast brass mounts on each end, beneath the drawers and the doors there is another banded section and a shaped frieze.
