A beautiful off-white to biscuit coloured background on this contemporary Sultanabad carpet using a variation of natural dyes and traditional designs from the antique carpets woven in Sultanabad. As the weavers use wool with different shades of blue and white to biscuit tones, it gives the carpet a lot of depth and character. As it is not just one, flat colour, producing amazing colours with the best wool.
The off-white natural background colour combined with the muted pinks, soft biscuit tones, pale blues and greens makes for a wonderful decorative carpet. Combined with the gentle pale blue border, the design and colours have been expertly hand-woven and thought out by the best weavers today.
