Object Description
This super quality large crested George III Irish silver bowl was made in Dublin in 1778 by John Lloyd and measures almost 5 inches tall by 8 inches in dia across the top and 5 1/8 inches across the base, it is hallmarked to the side and below that there is the crest of a lion rampant, a super piece of Irish silver in excellent condition weighing 25.5 ounces or 779 grams.
