Object Description
This super quality pair of crested George III silver grape scissors were made in London in 1816 by Messrs Eley & Fearn, they are gilded with the gilding being a lovely mellow colour, they measure 7.25 inches in length and bear the crest of an armoured arm holding arrows just below the blade screw, they have reed and tie patterning to the arms with trailing vine pattern leading into the finger rings, they are clearly hallmarked on both blades and are in very good condition weighing 3.40 ounces or 106 grams.
