Object Description
This superb quality armorial William III silver mug was made in London in 1690 by SS (page 132 Jacksons) and measures 3.5 inches tall by 4.75 inches from the handle across and is 3 inches in dia across the top and 3 7/16 inches across the base, it has 2 bands of reeding to the body with a scrolled handle and is fully hallmarked under the base, it has a lovely original coat of arms to the front inside a feathered cartouche and is in very good condition weighing 8.20 ounces or 255 grams.
