Object Description
A highly decorative French 19th century eight branch gilt metal chandelier in the Louis XIV style of superb quality.
The chandelier consists of a ceiling rose to the top with scrolling foliage decoration leading down to the decorative central column.
This leads down to eight scrolling branches with foliate and husk decoration leading onto bobeche drip pans and candle light fittings.
The branches are supported by decorative satyr masks and swags terminating with a finial of foliate design.
This chandelier is in excellent condition throughout as has recently been fully professionally restored, re-finished & re-wired, we always recommend that any lighting is checked and fitted by a qualified electrician once purchased.
