Object Description
Circa 1860. Superb quality, large mid-Victorian Gothic three-section, open oak bookcase. Surmounted by ribbed and moulded cornice above a frieze with foliate carvings. The three bookcase sections each with three adjustable shelves and flanked and separated by Gothic influence columns. The base with deeper bookcases with a single adjustable shelf. All supported on a moulded enclosed breakfront base. Quality item and in excellent condition. Single-piece base and cornice, top sections dismantle into 4 smaller sections.
