Here we have a wonderful and rare surviving 16th century Elm table top on a bespoke made box steel base c1580. As you can see the Elm has fantastic colour and patina. The thick Elm three plank top is incredible and quite remarkable that it has survived given that the base was lost some time ago. The outstanding base designed in house is made from box steel and beautifully welded. The base gives the table a floating top feel. It is designed so that there is nothing in the way of your legs without compromising on strength and solidity. A truly unique table mixing the old and the new. The table will comfortably seat 8 and is in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 230 cm long 73 cm deep 77 cm high.
