Object Description
A Chinese terracotta statuette from the Tang Dynasty, featuring a finely robed court attendant. The figure is depicted standing, with relaxed shoulders, and his hands clasped at his chest. He wears a long-sleeved, knee-length tunic, cinched beneath his stomach. The tunic displays an amber glaze which covers the hands and part of the neck. His shoes and cloth cap are covered in a black pigment and the square base in pink/brown pigment. There is some wear to the face over the facial features.
