Object Description
An early 17th century map ‘The Province Ulster’ by the cartographer John Speed (1551-1629).
John Speed is the most famous of early English map makers (cartographers) publishing “The Theatre of the Empire of Great Britain” with the help of John Sudbury & George Humble (publishers).
This map will be one from the book hence it has a fold down the centre.
The map is in very good condition and was framed in the 20th century. (Circa 1610)
