Possibly the chair acquired from Colefax & Fowler, ‘An antique Hepplewhite carved Berger upholstered in yellow velvet’ for £125, 30th September 1949 (Laurence Olivier Archive, The British Library, London, Add MS 79839)
Notley Abbey Inventory, April 1948 p.5, lounge ‘A Mahogany and fine line square shaped easy chair with turned rail arm supports on square tapering legs and spade feet; the seat, sides and back stuffed and covered in buff coloured material’
