Three-piece Russian silver tea set

Teapot: Height 17cm, width 20cm, depth 12cm
Creamer: Height 11cm, width 14cm, depth 9cm
This superb set is crafted from fine silver in the elegant Russian Neoclassical style. The set is comprised of a tea pot, a creamer, and a sugar bowl. Each of the three pieces features a finely engraved monogram to its front, comprised of the interlaced letters ALI. Each features a gilt interior and a mark underside for A. Martyanov, a maker in St Petersburg during the latter 19th Century, as well as ‘84’, which designates 87.5% silver.
